The tribute featured a diverse group of women who, through their achievements, have had a profound impact on the industry. This was the third year the fashion magazine hosted the prestigious Women in Hollywood Tribute. ELLE was attracted to this signature program, which champions the cause of women getting better roles on-screen. Honorees in 2010 included Gwyneth Paltrow, Hilary Swank, Diane Keaton, Jodie Foster, Diane Kruger, Kate Hudson, Kerry Washington, Jessica Chastain (recipient of the Calvin Klein Collection Emerging Star Spotlight Award), esteemed director/screenwriter Sofia Coppola, and master of ceremonies Adam Shankman.
