ASHLEY BERG, PARTNER

Ashley Berg is the founder and partner of LFB Media Group, where she has overseen the rapid expansion of the firm while successfully orchestrating national and regional media campaigns for a diverse group of lifestyle, fashion and beauty clients.

At a young age, Ashley had a knack for the world of public relations. While only a high school student she quickly became a fixture at all the hottest nightclubs in Los Angeles, where she adopted a PR-savvy skillsets while working the velvet ropes as a club promoter (all before the age of 18). It was only natural that her next steps would be to tackle the PR world itself, and she quickly accepted a position at Kravetz & Company Public Relations, a boutique agency in Los Angeles.

As the company expanded, Ashley opened their New York office alongside one of its partners. Managing accounts on both coasts, she leveraged her vast network of media contacts to secure exposure for clients including Hennessy, Dom Perignon, Chandon, Veuve Cliquot, Moet & Chandon, The Kress, Palmer Hospitality Group, K-Hotels, The Orlando Hotel, La Terza and Catch 22.

After much success, Ashley was recruited by award-winning firm Alison Brod Public Relations to lead its Lifestyle Division, focusing on hospitality and beverage accounts. There, Ashley executed national publicity campaigns for a broad portfolio of world-renowned brands including Cain Leisure, The One Group, William Grant & Sons, Godiva, Tasti-D Lite and Lucid Absinthe.

Armed with more than 10 years of public relations experience, Ashley decided to embark on her own journey and founded LFB Media Group. The firm focuses on brand development, effective media placement and special events. Today, Ashley continues to be hands on with all of her accounts, providing invaluable media strategies tailored to meet each client’s specific needs.

 

Filippa Svensson, Partner

Upon completing her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami, Filippa Svensson immersed herself in the world of public relations first at Roc Media where she worked in lifestyle and special events. After working with clients such as Morgans Hotel Group (The Shore Club & Delano Hotel), Grass, Mokai, and Shaquille O’Neal, Filippa made the leap to New York to expand her media relations network. There, she took a position at Fingerprint Communications where she further honed her PR skills while working in the Consumer & Entertainment division. She concentrated her efforts on Polaroid and the brand’s expansion into a celebrity-focused realm, beginning with the Polaroid Beach House. Later, Filippa successfully executed lifestyle-focused media campaigns for high-profile clients including Philippe, The Grand, Maxim Magazine and Lucky Magazine.

Filippa then made a leap to renowned firm Alison Brod Public Relations where she took on a senior-level position in the Lifestyle Division. There, Filippa executed numerous media initiatives for a long list of prominent nationally-and internationally-based companies and brands, including: Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (25th Anniversary Concert & annual inductions), Discovery Times Square Exposition (TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition & Lucy’s Legacy: The Hidden Treasures of Ethiopia), US Open, Yves Saint Laurent Opium, Renaissance Hotels, Cain Leisure, The One Group (STK, The Collective, One Little West 12th, Kiss & Fly, and Bagatelle), Genesis Today, Sensible Portions, Havaianas (U.S. Launch), Creative Vado, Microsoft Corporation and tinyprints.

In 2010, Filippa teamed up with Ashley Berg at LFB Media Group to join the lifestyle, fashion, and beauty-focused agency. The firm offers unparalleled service and caters to all forms of PR including brand development, media placement, collaboration and special events.
