ELLE, the world’s largest fashion magazine, together with Calvin Klein and L’Oréal, brought together an intimate group of Hollywood’s best and brightest talent for a celebration dinner honoring women’s achievements in film on October 18, 2010. The tribute featured a diverse group of women who, through their achievements, have had a profound impact on the industry. This was the third year the fashion magazine hosted the prestigious Women in Hollywood Tribute. ELLE was attracted to this signature program, which champions the cause of women getting better roles on-screen. Honorees in 2010 included Gwyneth Paltrow, Hilary Swank, Diane Keaton, Jodie Foster, Diane Kruger, Kate Hudson, Kerry Washington, Jessica Chastain (recipient of the Calvin Klein Collection Emerging Star Spotlight Award), esteemed director/screenwriter Sofia Coppola, and master of ceremonies Adam Shankman.
Additional celebrity guests included Annette Bening, Erika Christensen, Goldie Hawn, Harrison Ford, Jake Gyllenhaal, Katie Lee Joel, Quentin Tarantino, Elle Fanning, Molly Sims, Rachel Zoe, Emma Roberts, Michelle Trachtenberg and Matt Bellamy.
